Wanted to try this place for my family birthday dinner and it was pretty good! We walked in on Tuesday at 6:50pm and were able to get a table for five at the high tops which was lucky, as only 30 minutes later there were quite a few parties that had to wait for tables as the restaurant is small. It took them awhile to first come over and ask for our orders and we didn't get wagers until after we ordered. The service on the front end was really slow, but once we ordered our food it all came out at once and very quickly. We now know to order only a few plates at a time as it was a bit overwhelming having so many plates as well as they got cold. We ordered tons of food. Our favorite were the wontons with chili oil, cucumber salad, spicy pork XLB and ham fried rice. We also ordered the spicy pork noodles which were okay but didn't have any spice to them, however they did have a lot of flavor. My family all loved the scallion pancake, however I thought it was a little too oily and over cooked and would've liked it a bit less crispy and fried. My brother got the beef bulgogi bowl which he didn't love as the meat was on the fattier side but the sauce and onions were great. Our least favorite was the crab XLB, while I'm obsessed with crab the flavor was too fishy and clashed with the dumpling skin and juice. None of us liked this dish and wouldn't order it again as the taste wasn't desirable. We liked the chili oil they provided and wish they gave vinegar as that's a popular mix for XLB and such dishes. Overall, after ordering the service was quick and waiters attentive. The food was pretty good for the dishes we really liked and I'm sure we'll return

Great first impression. Food was great and prices are reasonable. We came on a Saturday night after 8pm and we waited for about 15 minutes. Restaurant was clean with modern decor. We ordered: -pork xiao long bao: perfect hot temperature for soupy dumpling and delicious. -pork and shrimp xiao long bao: also delicious including shrimp -beef wrap: very crunchy wrap and falls apart if you don't use your hand, tastes delicious. -Spicy dumplings: could use more flavor -cold noodles with peanut sauce: the noodles are the best chewy noodles I have eaten. I love peanut sauce too. People may think it's a plain dish with only noodles and sauce but it was perfect for me. -golden beef noodle soup: this is a pickled spicy soup. It was very spicy for me but my friend said it seems spicier than the last time. 2 of us coughed when the spicy soup was barely inhaled. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely come here more often for the delicious food.

My hubby and I came here for lunch and the food here is absolutely delicious! Highly recommend it 1) Pig ear salad with chili oil dressing - I love pig ear and this chilled appetizer is absolutely delicious. Texture is on point, and it's so yummy to share (5/5) 2) Seven Grams XLB - definitely get their xiao long bao! 6 pieces, ground pork filling is delicious, soup filling is plentiful, I thoroughly enjoyed this one (5/5) 3) Scallion pancake - don't hesitate, you must try it! Flakey, crispy and so yummy (5/5) 4) Golden Prime Beef Noodle Soup - broth is very flavorful, noodles are perfectly cooked, the kale and pickled greens offer a healthy balance to the hearty beef (5/5) Overall, you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. This place will have a bit of a long line; they have a waitlist available when you arrive to save your spot. Prices are reasonable, credit cards are accepted, and there's plenty of parking

I was very happy with this dumpling restaurant! So happy I don't have to go to other more expensive competitors farther away from home. We would have had to wait a long time but thankfully we were only a group of 2 and the other groups ahead of us were all large parties. So plan ahead for a long wait. My friend recommended the beef roll saying it was their signature dish and it did not disappoint! It was very tasty and included a generous amount of beef. I enjoyed half of it for leftovers for lunch the next day and it was still delicious! The dumplings were great. I was very happy with them! The sauce wasn't as spicy as other restaurants which I was very happy with! Just a kick and it was just as good. We will definitely be back here again!

Authentic food! Clean environment! Reasonable pricing!! Would definitely come back again!!

Idk why but I was craving XLB and this was the closets place I saw we were near so we decided to give it a try. And plus my friend had never tried it. We saw it was pretty packed so we like that's a good sign. We didn't wait long for a table since we were 2. There was plenty of seating inside and very clean as well. I even went to the restroom and man it was tidy and super nice!! Food we ordered Shrimp XLB 9/10: it was good. I feel like it had perfect balance. And didn't fall apart :)) Wonton in chili sauce 1000/10 this is usually one of my favs and will say this took to heaven!!! Chicken steamed dumplings 6/10 idk if I'm being honest it was underwhelming. Idk maybe it's because it had corn or something but it wasn't the best for me in my opinion. Peach green tea 6/10 idk also had a weird after taste and don't finish the drink. But I am kinda picky about teas and such. Overall everything went well!! I only took of one star cuz if the last 2 items but yeah :))

My son and I visited Seven Grams on a Friday afternoon. We were seated right away but I've seen this place with plenty of people waiting to be seated. It's in the Trader Joe shopping center and I usually do not have any issues with parking at this plaza. Restroom is in the far corner and is super clean. Customer service was accommodating, I had no issues placing our order. We ordered the watermelon juice, potato string shrimp, crab XLB and pan fried dumplings. Everything came out in good timing. The potato string shrimp was my fave and I know I'll crave! We will have to come back and check out their other menu items. I would definitely recommend!

I ate lunch and dinner at this location. Lunch time wasn't too crowded and service was good and took the food to-go. The packing was high-quality and the tomato beef soup was great. A bit unusual as they used bulgogi meat instead of traditional chunky beef for the soup. Also they used kale instead of traditional veggies. So it's definitely a fusion style. The broth was excellent. At night, I took my kids there so I can try their xiao long bao. The xiao long bao was good as was the gyudon (also bulgogi meat). But what felt lacking at night versus lunch was the service. During the daytime the staff was different and more friendly. The dinner staff all walked around with a chip on their shoulder. Considering I got there at 5pm and had to wait 30 minutes to be seated, they could at least show they welcomed the business. The host got irritated when I greeted him in chinese. For a chinese restaurant, they should NOT have someone who gets irritated when someone says "hi" in chinese. Then when I got seated, the server didn't want to take our order but took the order of the table next to us. So I had to flag down another one. As for final payment, it always bothers me when I pay and the only options are 18%, 20%, and 25% for gratuity for the crappy service I got and then they stand impatiently there to watch what I choose. So yeah, that was the last straw, I won't be coming back for dinner anymore. I had a talk with my two teens afterwards and they both said the service was crappy and they don't feel comfortable coming back. Hence, I know it wasn't just me that got the unwelcome vibe from this place.
